Weather & Water Conditions

Weather on St. Martin / St. Martin, Caribbean.

St. Martin is blessed with great weather almost year round. The average daytime temperature is typically in the mid-to-upper 80s, a little hotter in the summer and a bit cooler in the winter. The winds are typically calmest in the late spring and early summer, which is also the off-season, making that a great time to plan a dive vacation to St. Martin. You can check the local weather online at Weather Underground. If you see showers, don’t worry! If it rains, it usually happens around 6am. Passing showers during the day typically breeze in and out in literally five or ten minutes.

If sea conditions increase we can usually find somewhere to tuck away out of the swells. As we are the only dive center on St. Martin / St. Maarten that dives all over the Island we have access to many different and interesting sites, which can offer more protection.

On the very rare occasion that weather or sea conditions might create a safety concern or a sub-par diving experience we will cancel dives and provide a full refund. While no one likes to miss a dive, your safety and dive quality are more important to us. Luckily, in Saint Martin this is an extremely rare occurrence.
