Sally
Sally is originally from New York, USA. She began diving while completing her MSc in Marine Science in Plymouth, England and quickly fell in love with the underwater world. On a fateful trip to Egypt, she met Chris (who was her Divemaster but is now her husband) and that is when her life really became interwoven with diving. Not long after this trip she started completing her other PADI courses, soon becoming a Rescue Diver (with the help of Chris who had by then become an instructor). Chris and Sally then traveled to Indonesia, where she became a DiveMaster and then shortly after a PADI Instructor. She now holds the rating of Master Scuba Diver Trainer and has certified over 200 students. Sally also holds the french instructor rating of BEES 1, probably the first American female to do so, this is something to brag about…. Ask her and she will tell you all about it!
Underwater photography became the focus of Sally’s diving when she was working at Stuart Cove’s in the Bahamas for the Fin Photo Department. She trained under the wonderful photographer Claudia Pellarini and as you can see by her photos in the gallery section of this website, her underwater photographs of diving in St. Martin are first class. Sally loves to teach scuba diving, and is an excellent instructor. She is also a boat captain, speaks English and French, and… she is a published professional underwater photographer.
