Chris
Chris is originally from Plymouth, England. He worked as an Electrical/Mechanical engineer for 14 years, but after his first taste of Scuba Diving in he was hooked. (And this wasn’t in the warm waters of the Caribbean, it was in the cold waters of England, so you know he was into it!) He continued his dive training and started to work as a Divemaster part time for Plymouth Diving Center and then Deep Blue Diving. Not long after this Chris committed himself to the scuba industry by resigning from his job and working full time as a Diving Instructor and commercially endorsed boat captain in England.
He has never regretted his decision, and believes that people should be happy in what they do. After working in Indonesia, the Raja Ampat, Egypt, Thailand, the Bahamas he is now living his dream life with is wife Sally, scuba diving, teaching scuba diving lessons, being a fantastic instructor all in the beautiful waters of Saint Martin in the Caribbean.
Most recently Chris has been certified as a rebreather instructor and Advanced Nitrox instructor by one of the world’s most accomplished exploration divers (Rich Stevenson), taking his diving to a whole new level. This has always been a goal for Chris, and one that he is very proud to have obtained. He is one of the first rebreather instructors to teach the new Poseidon Mk6 Discovery Rebreather.
