Sally is originally from New York, USA. She began diving while completing her MSc in Marine Science in Plymouth, England and quickly fell in love with the underwater world. She soon became a PADI
scuba dive instructor
and now holds the rating of Master Scuba Diver Trainer and
Emergency First Responder
Instructor. Sally also holds the french instructor rating of BEES 1, probably the first American female to do so. Ask her and she will tell you all about it!
Chris is orignally from Plymouth, England. He worked as an Electrical/Mechanical engineer for 14 years, but after his first taste of Scuba Diving in the UK he was hooked. He continued his dive training and started to work as a Divemaster part time. Not long after this Chris committed himself to the scuba industry by resigning from his job and working full time as an Diving Instructor in England. He has never regretted his decision, and believes that people should be happy in what they do. After working in Indonesia, the Raja Ampat, Egypt, Thailand, the Bahamas he is now living his dream life with is wife Sally,

Jean-Philippe is from Bordeaux (France). JP is an integral part of the Octopus Team. He originally worked here from December 2007 - June 2008, then took some time off to go surfing and traveling in the Philipines. Luckily, he returned back to us in December 2008 and we plan on keeping him here for a long time. JP is a BEES 1 Instructor as well as a PADI Divemaster. He is fluent in English, but luckily has kept his accent. JP is one of the safest and most proficient dive guides you will ever have, plus... he is super fun!
Underwater photography has now become the focus of Sally's diving, and as you can see by her photos in the gallery section of this website, her underwater photographs of diving in St. Martin are first class. She is also an excellent scuba diving instructor , and loves to teach. If Sally is your diving instructor you will have an amazing time ! As a PADI MSDT she teaches all PADI courses, especially a fantastic Underwater Photography Specialist here in the beautiful St. Martin, just ask about it.
